Sea6 Energy
Headquartered in Bangalore, Sea6 was founded in 2010 to develop innovative solutions to key global problems. Over the last decade, it has become a pioneer of innovative technologies for sustainable, large-scale and mechanized farming of sea-plants and the conversion of this sea-plant biomass to novel products.
Ocean Rainforest
Ocean Rainforest (ORF) cultivates, processes, and sells premium, fully-traceable seaweed products, primarily for feed, food, and cosmetic producers. They aspire to become the leading provider of high-quality cultivated seaweed in Europe and North America, employing a business model that spans seeding, cultivation, harvesting, processing, and ultimately, business-to-business sales.
Cascadia Seaweed
Cascadia Seaweed is an AgTech company based in British Columbia dedicated to addressing climate change and food security. In partnership with First Nations, they cultivate local species of seaweed on low-impact ocean farms and they then harvest that seaweed and manufacture biostimulants and agrifeed supplements for land-based farmers that reduce emissions and increase yields.

Aqua-Spark
Aqua-Spark is a global investment fund dedicated to sustainable aquaculture. Through investments in seaweed companies and other companies across the global aquaculture value chain, they enable the innovative and sustainable farming of aquatic organisms such as fish, crustaceans, molluscs, and algae in water bodies and in land-based tanks.
Katapult Ocean Deep Blue Fund
Katapult Ocean Deep Blue Fund invests across a range of verticals within the blue economy with the aim of solving climate and biodiversity challenges, and providing food and water globally. Investment recipients from the fund participate in a 3-month program run by world-leading mentors and partners to support startups with impact measurement & reporting, financing and performance Strategy.
Twynam Earth Fund
Twynam Earth Fund is an early stage venture capital fund. With a focus on pre-seed to Series A stage startups, they empower deep climate tech companies on a global scale between six sectors, including ocean sustainability. They look for commercially scalable ocean projects such as seaweed farms and restoring kelp forests to regenerate ocean health and transition to a sustainable ocean economy.
